Culebra Initiative

Supporting NRCS Outreach in Culebra, Puerto Rico

mano-Y-ola (formerly known as Nolo Consulting, LLC) partnered with Mujeres de Islas to support an NRCS initiative to bring conservation practices and programs to Culebra, the smallest island in Puerto Rico, at 1,800 residents.

Supported by our 2019 mano-Y-ola interns, our outreach team identified, surveyed, and registered farms and farmers, providing training on 20 conservation practices to women leaders, youth, and farmers.
